SUMMARY:Hometown Heroes 2023 Gala
DESCRIPTION:This year\, we are raising funds for Camp Hometown Heroes\, Camp Reunite and Turning Rivers. Camp Hometown Heroes is a free week-long summer camp for children who lost a parent or sibling through service in the U.S. Military. These children made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. Camp Hometown Heroes provides them with restored hope and healing. In addition\, with a long-term lease of the beautiful Turning Rivers camp facility north of Milwaukee\, funds will be utilized for Camp Reunite\, a groundbreaking program for children who have an incarcerated parent. Turning Rivers is a unique facility that welcomes thousands of children and volunteers each year. The Grand Slam Charity Jam funding allows this facility to serve even more children.
